Primary Level (G1-6)

Our primary level education aims at the full development of students in all respects---morality, wisdom, happiness and potentiality for further education and livelihood. In addition, 5 key competencies are built into the learning structure which include: 1) Communication Capacity 2) Thinking Capacity 3) Problem-Solving Capacity 4) Capacity for Applying Life Skills and 5) Capacity for Technological Application Our learning activities help to nurture our students to have a public mind, a sense of Thainess and ethical values.

IBS also organises unique POWER HOUSE activities to develop life skills, teamwork and unity amongst students of all levels.

In Primary phase

The majority of subjects are taught by a team of specialist teachers. A strong emphasis is placed on English, Mathematics, Science and Thai language. Mandarin Chinese, ICT, sports and music are taught by qualified specialist teachers throughout the school year.

Our school offers two learning programmes which are designed based on the Basic Education Curriculum of Thailand, integrated with the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage frameworks of England. These are 1) International Programme (IP) consisting 90% of English subjects and 10% of Thai subjects; and, 2) Intensive English Programme (IEP) consisting 60% of English subjects and 40% of Thai subjects. At the start of Kindergarten level 3 up to Secondary level, Mandarin Chinese class is added into the school curriculum.

International Programme (IP) is specially designed for international students or Thai students wishing to pursue higher education at overseas institutions. The programme focuses on academic enrichment in English and Chinese learning subjects. Additionally, the programme framework promotes the growth of 21st century skills which encourages students to practice analytical thinking and collaboration while embracing the use of cutting-edge learning technologies.
